I was not going to walk you through the walls of nine buildings and then leave you standing inside one with no door. That would be cruel, and it is the opposite of why I wrote this.
So here, gathered in one place, is the same kind of help that was once handed to me: people who have already walked out of these systems, ministries who understand the specific way each of these deceptions works, and sound teaching that can meet you exactly where you are.
Let me be plain about what these are and what they are not. Listing a resource here is not me endorsing every word every one of these people has ever said, and it is absolutely not a replacement for the only two things that actually set me free, which are the Word of God and the Holy Spirit who opens it.
These are starting points, not a new authority to trust blindly. Take what lines up with Scripture, test all of it, and leave the rest.
If you are afraid, or grieving, or not sure you are even allowed to ask these questions, hear me: you are allowed, you are not alone, and you do not have to do any of this by yourself.
